Good bye 2013, Welcome 2014!

It's been a tough year, with good and bad, it's now close to its end.

This year I've organized the Eurodance Riff Contest 2013, a classic Eurodance music contest where 29 participants from 17 countries submitted a total of 67 entries. It's been a great experience and I'm satisfied with the results.

I wish everyone who's reading a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Great American Song Contest 2012 - Song Evaluation

This morning I've received the evaluation of the Great American Song Contest for my song "A Question of a Child". Here it is:

Lyrics:
Ttitle/Hook: 8
Clarity/Progression of theme: 5
Originality: 6
Rhyming: 7
Imagery/poetics: 7
Melody: 5

Comments: "I appreciate the poetic elements of this composition. And you set the hook phrase up perfectly with the organized structure... Keep on honing craft, there is talent here!"

Judges rate the components of each song on a scale from 1 to 10. A rating of ‘1’ suggests a need for major improvement, ‘5’ is average and a rating of ‘10’ signifies excellence.

UKSC 2012 Results

Just received the UKSC 2012 results, my highest score was 6, for my song "A Question of a Child" (Adult Contemporary), I'm once again a borderline semifinalist.

According to UKSC: "A score of 6 is a borderline semi finalist score and indicates that the writer has above average composition skills and that song nearly made it into the semi finals."
